Years and years ago I did a little knitting but I had a husband, children, large garden, dog, pony and a good sized greenhouse full of orchids to take care of, so the knitting did not last long. Last year I started up again. This time I have become more interested in learning the many tricks in knitting. I have a short span of attention and a low tolerance to boredom so my projects are mostly quick and easy items.

Well, here is my first project. Hats seemed to be the easiest item to learn to knit. It was knitted flat and sewed up the back. It was way too big. I had to learn how to knit to fit. The initials were embroidered on with the duplicate stitch technique.
